What Washington State has been doing:
A Fresh Start
This unscheduled disruption has given me an opportunity to have a go at a restart, a pivot and/or a change in direction. It is hard to underestimate the value of a blank slate, a fresh new day, the opening lines of a new saga, the beginning of a new chapter in one's life. Carpe diem; sieze the day! Time is fleeting. Forward we go! Keep moving. There's a silver lining in everything.
What I've been doing:
Isolating | Except for groceries and the rare family visit.
Staying healthy | Exercising, eating right, sleeping and keeping my mental faculties sharp.
Working remotely | Website development!
Preparing for when everything reopens | Cleaning, organizing, planning, etc.
Resting and relaxing | This has been a much needed vacation for me.
Staying postive | Keeping my eye on the silver lining.
Reading books | View from a Height, Adding a Dimension, Atom & the last three books in the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov | The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss | The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy
Expanding my skill set | HTML/CSS Coding, ZOOM Video Conference organizing, building this website
Culinary Explorations | I made Sushi! See Photo
Maintaining a list of other things to do | Learn to juggle, improve my RubiK's cube solving skills, make more sushi, learn another language, etc.
