I'm an adventuresome soul. I love to try out new things, see new places, eat new foods and meet new people.
I've kayaked, hiked, flown an airfoil kite, skydived hundreds of times, mountain biked, kept honeybees for more than a decade and many other things.
I also dearly love to lose myself in a good book. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite genres.

Cascade Mountain Range!
I grew up in the foothills of the Cascades. I love the forest!
I've put many miles on this bicycle.
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!
I kept bees for over a decade. There are few things tastier than honey from your own apiary (bee farm) on home baked bread! It is quite satisfying to watch a dozen worker bees peacefully and calmly crawl over your hand lapping up drops of honey! Great memories!
Drysuits are awesome!
I have a total of 5 dives under my belt. NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver certification. Drysuits are great for PNW diving. Many thanks for the lessons, Jason!
I've floated the Snohomish River, gone on a sea kayaking tour in the San Juan Islands and skimmed across a small lake.
Being on two wheels is fun!
I put 38k+ miles on this 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycle.
